The main challenge was to create a news website that provides valuable market information while subtly promoting the featured brokers. The design needed to be professional and visually engaging, with clear calls to action that encourage users to visit the brokers’ platforms.
Stage 1: Research
Conducted market research to understand the types of content that traders and potential clients are most interested in. Analyzed competitor news platforms to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Stage 2: Visual Concept
Developed a modern, professional design that emphasizes readability and user engagement. The design concept was created with a focus on making news content the main attraction, while also integrating broker promotions in a seamless manner.
Stage 3: Design and Prototyping
Designed high-fidelity wireframes and an interactive prototype in Figma. The user interface was structured to prioritize breaking news and key trading insights, with broker promotions highlighted in sidebars and dedicated sections.
Stage 4: Handoff to Development
Collaborated closely with developers to ensure that the design was implemented according to specifications, with an emphasis on maintaining a fast and responsive user experience across devices.
This project highlighted the importance of balancing informative content with subtle yet effective promotion. By focusing on a streamlined user experience and clear calls to action, we were able to create a news platform that not only provides value to its users but also benefits the featured brokers.
